Water level and quality monitoring

There are now many wireless options in Caproc product range for water level and water quality monitoring.

Save time and money

Monitoring and reporting of water level is mandatory for companies and instances using the ground water. Ground water level monitoring pipes are usually in distant and hard to get locations. Wireless automatic water level monitoring saves time and money. Human errors are always risk in manual measuring. With automation you get constant good quality.

Waste and fresh water quality monitoring

Water management locations are in wide areas- Wells, pump stations and pipe networks are in wide areas. Quite often have also no electricity and communications. In these locations wireless battery powered sensors provide great value.

Aquaculture

Industry maintenance – vibration and temperature measurements

Equipment condition monitoring is one of the most important responsibilities for preventive maintenance. Monitoring makes sure that equipment is functional and possible anomalies are detected early before any damage occurs. Factories and plants have lot of electrical motors, pumps, ventilation motors, ball bearings and other rotating equipment. Vibration and temperature are essential values for condition monitoring of these equipment.

Truly wireless solution without local networks or gateways

No need for extra local gateways needing power supply and installation. Our products are battery powered (or with fixed power supply) and operate in LoRaWAN IoT-networks. Both private and public networks are supported.

 

Easy and fast start up

Installation and start up is not getting any easier or faster than this. No need for extra gateways or local networks. Sensors are delivered ready to use. Just switch on power and install on the monitored device.

 

Multiple mounting options

Sensor has multiple mounting options.

  • Magnet base (in picture). Optional magnet base is connected to bottom of the sensor. Magnet base connects to the device firmly.
  • Adhesive. Optional mounting base is connected to the bottom of the sensor. The mounting base is connected to the device with adhesive.
  • Stub mounting. Special mounting stub is delivered with the sensor and can be used to connect sensor directly on the device.

 

Battery life time approx. 2 years

Sensors have low power consumption enabling long battery life time approx. 2 years.

Preventive maintenance

Increased vibration levels and rise of temperature are typically indicating anomalies in the device. Monitoring of these values provide good indication of equipment condition and possibility to prevent high damages due to unexpected failures.

Measured values

Sensor measures multiple vibration values and surface temperature.

Following vibration values are measured and visualized in the system:

  • Velocity RMS (mm/s)
  • Acceleration RMS (g)
  • Acceleration Peak (g)
  • Kurtosis
  • Crest factor
  • Skewness
  • Standard Deviation
  • Displacement (μm)

 

Alarm limits and notifications

Normal and critical alarm limits can be set for each measured values. The system informs too high or low values via emails. Also SMS is sent if critical limits are reached.

      Alarms and notifications

      Alarm and notifications can be set for different valve positions. Displacement of monitored position or reaching of desired position.

         

        Valves on map

        Valves can also show on map. Different symbols and colors for open and closed positions to illustrate the overall state quickly. Map view is useful if there are multiple facilities to monitor in different locations. e.g. water, energy and electricity companies.

           

          Condition monitoring at home, at work or at summer house.

          With condition monitoring sensor you can measure room and facility temperature, humidity and other air quality values.

          Wireless ultrasonic sensorsare good match for various level and distance measuring applications. With Caproc IoT-system you can monitor container levels and get notifications of full or empty tanks.

          Liquid waste tanks

          Liquid waste tanks are good solution for facilities outside of fixed municipality waste network. Tanks are typically emptied in fixed cycle regardless of tank being empty of full. With wireless ultrasonic sensor you can monitor when the tank is full and order emptying service only when needed. You can set the system to inform you when tank if getting full and prevent over flows or unnecessary emptying service.

          Fuel or chemical tanks

          Ultrasonic sensors fit well for tank level monitoring. There are models that can be attached on the tank filling whole. For example you can set a system to notify of empty fuel tank in road contruction area.

          Reservoir or water system level monitoring
